Our mission

Artistic quality at the heart of everything

Aftab Art Organization is a multicultural organizer of artistic and cultural events. We are honored to create and participate in the most unique experiences in music concerts, theatre, and film productions.

Aftab, meaning “sun” in Persian, stands as a distinctive ensemble and holds a significant role within the Aftab Art Organization. It proudly claims the privilege of being the unique Persian choir in Europe with a high level of productivity.

Over the past decade, the choir has rendered melodious compositions from diverse cultures, in various languages, contributing to cultural richness, musical excellence and inclusivity.

Aftab Symphony Orchestra is a new intercultural project orchestra in Stockholm, bringing together professional musicians, advanced music students and selected experienced instrumentalists.

Through concentrated project periods, professional artistic leadership and mentorship, the orchestra combines high-quality artistic production with musical development and meaningful collaboration.

Its repertoire creates a dialogue between Western symphonic traditions, Eastern musical cultures, Nordic perspectives and other international influences. The aim is to broaden participation, reach new audiences and build connections across cultures and communities.

Our ambition is to establish a distinctive and recurring platform for orchestral performance, education, mentorship and cultural exchange.

The Aftab Global Collaboration Platform provides a unique opportunity for singers, musicians, and individuals with experience in artistic production to become part of Aftab's international artistic community. Whether you are interested in performing in high-level concerts or contributing behind the scenes to the planning and production of artistic events, this platform connects you with exciting opportunities. By registering, you will receive updates and invitations tailored to your skills, experience, and the specific needs of each program.

Aftab Online Courses are designed for Persian-speaking participants wherever they live. Through focused study in music theory and solfège, the programme helps participants strengthen their musicianship, listening skills, music reading, and theoretical understanding within a supportive learning environment. The courses also provide a pathway into Aftab’s wider artistic community: selected participants will be invited to take part in future choral and symphonic projects, transforming online study into collaborative artistic experience.
